ISO: Canning green beans went wrong

I recently grew green beans in the garden. We decided this year to can them. Well I did, I cooked green beans maybe about 1o min boiling time, Sterilized lids, jars and when beans was done I used the hot water from them to fill jars with, I put sterilized lids on a clean rim. I had a total of 27 jar and only 1 didn't seal. Well, to my surprise I kept hearing a pop here and there, couldn't figure out what. It sounded like someone opening a jar. Well I checked what I recently did and the majority of my beans were unsealing. After 4 days, they were gradually unsealing. I had to throw them all away. What a smelly mess. I am wondering what I did wrong. Please help, Thanks, Liz
