ISO: Coconut-Pineapple Layer Cake with Pecan Cream Cheese Frosting

Even though this recipe makes a 3-layer cake, I am surprised that there isn't some sort of filling/frosting between layers. Do you think your frosting recipe provides enough to do this? Thank you in advance for a reply. (TIA)
