ISO: Coffee-Flavor Carnation Instant Breakfast

The Nestle company has recently discontinued the coffee-flavored Carnation Instant Breakfast, so I am seeking a copycat recipe. Although the company suggested using the vanilla flavor mix and adding two teaspoons of instant coffee, I find the artificial vanilla flavor overwhelming. Does anyone have a copycat recipe they are willing to share?
