COLOSSAL CHOCOLATE CINNAMON ROLLS
2 loaves frozen white bread dough 1 lb each, thawed
FOR THE FILLING:
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 (12 oz) package Nestle Toll Semi Sweet Chocolate Morsels, divided
1 cup nuts, chopped and divided
FOR THE GLAZE:
1 cup confectioners sugar
3 to 4 teaspoons (as needed)
Grease 2 (9-inch) round baking pans.
On a lightly floured surface, roll one bread loaf into a 16x10 rectangle.
In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle 2 tablespoons over dough leaving 1/2 border around sides. Sprinkle with 1 cup morsels and 1/2 cup nuts.
Roll up from a short side; pinch seam to seal, cut into 6 slices. Place cut side down in a greased 9 inch round baking pan. Repeat with remaining bread loaf, sugar mixture, morsels and nuts. Place in a second baking pan. Cover and let rise in warm place until dough almost fills pans.
Bake in preheated 350 degrees F oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool slightly in pans on wire racks.
In a small bowl, combine confectioner sugar and enough milk to make a stiff glaze. Drizzle over rolls.
Makes 1 dozen
