ISO: Diner's Carribean White Crab Chili
Misc.ADVERTISEMENT
I have been in search of a recipe for many years now. In the Dayton, Ohio area, there was a restaurant called The Diner on St. Clair. It had a private recipe and truly divine dish called carribean white crab chili. I loved it! One day, the Diner (nicer than it sounds, was going for a 50's retro feel) closed. I was so bummed. Then, a few years later, a restaurant opened in Cincinnati, Ohio called The Diner on Sycamore. They also had the private family recipe called carribean white crab chili. Regretfully, the restaurant closed again. I love that dish and would happily pay to go eat it. But, since that is not an option, I've been trying to find a recipe for it. After years of searching and some of my own experimenting, I've still had NO LUCK! Help!!! Does anyone know how to make either this specific dish or one like it? Has a place called "The Diner on ______" opened near you that serves it? If so, where? Thanks for any help.
