ISO: Dublin area brown bread

Misc.

I am searching for a recipe for the brown bread served with meals, especially breakfast at Bewley's Hotel, Newland Crossing, near Dublin and ain most of the restaurants I visited in the Dublin area. The same bread was not served on the other coast of Ireland. I've tried several recipes, but I have not come close yet. Maybe you can help.
