ISO: Easter bread with egg in the center

I am looking for an Easter bread recipe that has the whole egg in the middle, but doesn't use a yeast batter. My aunt, used to make an Easter Bread that was sort of crumbly and not too sweet. It was great for dunking and did not require rising for the dough. Can any one help??
