ISO: egg casserole - denser than a quiche made in a loaf pan

Misc.
A co-worker brought in this dish during the holidays - it's one from her grandmother - from the "old" country - europeon - the co-worker is a very nice person but she doesn't share recipes - it was made in a loaf pan - with eggs, ham, bacon very dense, and it wasn't a quiche - didn't have a crust - it wasn't a frittata - but it was very good and I would love to have the recipe.
