ISO: Enchilada Sauce from 1956 Edition Betty Crocker Picture Cook Book

Misc.
I'm sure this sauce recipe was in the 1956 edition of the Betty Crocker Picture Cook Book that I "grew up" with. I recently purchased a new re-print but cannot find the recipe that I remember. I believe the name of the recipe was "Enchilada" Sauce and I rember bits of the recipe...among the ingredients: chopped onion, flour, chopped tomatoes(canned), chili powder, oil (or perhaps, Crisco), and I remember part of the steps: sauteeing the onion, then adding the flour.... My whole family loved this sauce and I made it - a lot! If anyone out there can help I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks so much!
