ISO: Fluffy White Frosting w/sour cream or cream cheese

I tasted a frosting on a red velvet cupcake that was very light and airy, not too sweet, with a slight sour cream flavor and possibly shortening (did not detect a butter flavor or color). Does anyone know what this recipe might be?
