ISO: Freezing fresh apricots

Misc.
To Linda Lou in WA. I want to freeze fresh apricots without sugar for use this winter. I am going to blanche, and pit them first, then peel them when I defrost them. I have never done this before. I am canning for the first time. For the last 2 weeks I have been making sugar free jam and I can't afford anymore time or expense but have a lot of apricots left. I read your post on freezing. Can I use the water method to pack them in w/a couple of spoonfuls of apple vinegar? I don't know what abscorbic acid is or where to get it. for each 3 cups of pureed apricots I have been using 3 tsp lemon juice, 1/2 cup water and 1 cup Splenda. It is good. Thanks for your help.
