ISO: grandy's graham cracker crust
Misc.dear betsy and friends,
i am coming to you as my last resort. (probably should have been my FIRST) you have rescued me many times and
i hope you can do so yet again. i have had relatives
searching among dead relatives' recipe boxes for my Grandy's graham cracker crust recipe. i know it used graham crackers, butter, sugar, and i think chopped nuts. this was mixed then baked on a cookie sheet then pressed into pie pan. she usually placed banana slices around pan then poured vanilla pudding in it and sprinkled top with banana slices. it was always kept in fridge til gone. this was a very crunchy, chewy crust, that at least, tasted nutty.
Grandy is gone for thirty years or more, and sometime during a recent move, that recipe and many others were lost.
since i can't find it, it has become even more dear to me.
can someone please help me find it?
