ISO: Help 1 yr old B-day party

Hi, my daughters firts birthday is this week, I'm having a small gathering of 20 or so adults and a few small childern to celibrate. I can't decide what to serve. The party is from 1-4 on Sunday afternoon. I'm thinking apertizers, something simple but elegant. I'm not a good cook, although I aspire to be. Does anyone out there have any suggestions? Please help!
