Just an FYI post unfortunately. Check out a local blog called MBIP, (Meanwhile Back In Peoria) Today's post featured a 30's or 40's pic of Hunt's. The writer discovered that Mrs. Hunt volunteered at Proctor Hospital in the Snacks 'n Sodas shop for 35 years. She gave them the original recipes for Hunt's fantastic ice cream concoctions. I'm going to check it out and see if she shared any other secret Hunt's recipes and have an old fashioned ice cream soda, that I was always too full to try after eating that famous tenderloin!!
