ISO: Looking for food from House of Mirth Times

Misc.
Book Club is at my home April-we are reading The House of Mirth by Edith Wharton -takes place 1873. Anyone familair with this book-time period, and know what they ate-can't find anything from book. Am just starting to search and saw this so I thought I would start here. Thanks to anyone who may know what was eaten in this time period-upper class. Am excited to make something for the gals that night if possible. So many books so little time, LauraAnne
