ISO: Mystery Cake

Misc.
This is a cake My Mom made in the 70's, in CA. Looks a little like gingerbread on the outside. But the special ingrediant was a can of fruit cocktail. No frosting, usually served with whip cream. My Mom lost the recipe long ago. It would be awsome if some one could help!
