ISO: orange overnight fr toast/rice dessert

i am actually searching for two recipes - one, a rice dessert and the other, an overnight french toast.

years ago, we prepared a rice dessert cooking the rice in milk; i don't remember if almonds were cooked with the rice or added during the layering process. once cooked, the rice was layered with whipping cream, raspberries and almonds. it was a wonderful dessert but we cannot locate the recipe; please help - if anyone remembers or has the recipe.

the second recipe was published in gormet or bon apetit i believe. french bread slices were dipped in a mixture of egg and i believe an orange liquer and then allowed to sit overnight before baking. it made an easy to cook, delicious breakfast the following morning....but do you think i can find that one, either? of course not.

we have searched all over the internet to no avail. let's hope that someone else enjoyed these same recipes AND actually kept track of them. i look forward to finding them again!
