ISO: re Marshmallow Icing

Misc.
Could you please tell me exactly what is "marshmallow creme". I think I have seen it jarred at the supermarket. I heard of a recipe where you "melt" marshmallows in milk, then let them cool. Could this be the easy, commercial equivalent?
