ISO: searching for a specific Italian dish - giambotta (?)

Misc.
In the early 80's I lived in New Jersey and frequented an excellent Italian restaurant. They served a dish that my friend called Giambotta (I think) I have searched for Giambotta and the dish described isn't what I remember.

This was a very hearty dish containing beef, pork, chicken, peppers (hot and sweet) potatoes, and various other vegetables. It was a spicy dish and may simpley be a local variation of the giambotta (all vegetables) that is described in a couple of recipes that I have found.

thanks in advance for any help
