If its a Scandanavian recipe you are looking for, I might be able to help. My Grandparents were Swedish and they made something like a dumpling that was quite large, you could it two for a meal and they had salt pork and onions inside. They were a special treat for our family so my dad learned how to make them. I have a recipe in one of my Swedish cook books. They were called Krupkawker (sp.??)
