Recipe(tried): Cornbread Dressing
Misc.My mother used to make the same cornbread dressing and she did not write down the recipe either; however, I watched her make it many times and now make it too. It sounds like you already have the basic recipe; however, you have to add broth and/or water to make the pre-cooked mixture very soupy. It will cook down to a moist consistency.
Yellow Cornbread
White Bread
Chopped Onion/Celery
Salt
Pepper
1 or 2 Eggs (Depending on Size of Recipe)
1/4 Cup Oil
Sage/Poultry Seasoning
Broth/Water to make mixture very soupy.
I hope this helps.
