ISO: strawberry jam

Misc.
My daughter in law has made three batches of jam that are only syrup. She used the recipe in the Kerr book and powdered pectin. It's been years since I canned and cannot find my recipe. I do remember that I always used the liquid certo or Ball's liquid. Please help and thank you very much
