ISO: Sugar Cookies with Honey
Misc.I am looking for a recipe that Mom used to use for Christmas Cookies. It was in the Betty Croker Cookbook from the 60's (I think). The Page had a standard sugar cookie recipe at the top - but listed a "variation" below the main recipe that called for subsituting honey for some of the sugar and reducing the amount of butter to compensate for the additional moisture aded by the honey.
They made THE best cookies, but the cookbook was lost in the confusion of my mothers death several years ago and I ahve been searching for one of the older editions of the BC Cookbook...the recipe is NOT included in the new one.
I have been unsucessful in my attenpts to "wing-it". If any one out there has the book I'm talking about I would be eternally greatful for the recipe details.
