ISO: sweet potato pone - old fashioned southern crustless pie

Misc.
As a child growing up in Mobile, Al, I remember my grandmother making some of the best food you could ever want. I ask myself why I did not watch closer so that I could share this wonderful experience with my children. One of her best dishes at the holidays would be the sweet potato pone. It is a crustless sweet potato pie (no nuts). If anyone has a recipe for this truly country creation, please help. Thanks
