ISO: Tavern rolls aka Laugensemmel or maybe pretzel rolls

My family recently visited Colonial Williamsburg and bought Tavern Rolls from the Raleigh Tavern Bake Shop. We loved them and I have since been unable to find a recipe. Could anyone help?
