ISO: Using heavy baking pans for cakes

Misc.
The last time I was up in the states I bought myself some good deep, nine inch round baking pans. I belive the brand name is Chicago . They are wonderful for making sticky buns. My question is can I use them for cakes. They are much heavier than anyother cake pans that I have. Is it necessary to adujst time or oven temperature.
