Make a traditional sauce with:
1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork
Onion, fine diced
Fresh garlic, to taste
Oregano
Parsley
Salt and pepper
1 to 2 tablespoon sugar
Tomato sauce
Tomato paste
Italian plum tomatoes
And the secret ..... RED WINE VINEGAR about 2 Tablespoons or to taste !!! The larger the pot of sauce the more red wine vinegar you will need ! it is what gives it the tang !!!
