ISO: What will remove perspiration odor from synthetic fabric?

Misc.
I have a dress made of a jersey type knit that includes a little Lycra and spandex. Because of beading around the neckline the tag says to dry clean only. I wore it to an outdoor event last weekend and now it has underarm perspiration odors. In the past when I have sent articles of clothing to by dry cleaned, the odors will not be evident when you pick them up, but as soon as you put them on, the odor returns. Does anyone know an effective way to remove the odors before I send it to the dry cleaners? It is a beautiful dress and one that I can wear on many occasions, so I would hate to not be able to wear it again.

I will greatly appreciate any and all suggestions.

Thanks,

Brenda
