Recipe: Roasted Fruit (strawberries and grapes with cardamom and ginger)

ROASTED FRUIT



1 cup cut up strawberries
1/2 cup halved green grapes
1/2 cup halved red grapes
3 tablespoons Mazola Corn Oil
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon Spice Islands Ground Cardamom
1/2 teaspoon Spice Islands Ground Ginger

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Place fruit in a medium sized bowl. Toss with oil, then mix in sugar, cardamom and ginger. Stir until the fruit is well coated. Place the fruit in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Roast for 25 to 30 minutes or until the grapes and strawberries have shriveled and begun to juice. Remove from oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Makes 1 cup cooked fruit
