Gladys, thank you so much for all the information! One of my new year's resolutions is to loose weight (like everyone else out there).
Do you have any recipes you can share for the crockpot? Would like a stewed chicken or beef (carne con papa or pollo friscase, o que se paresca? You know what us people usually eat) I do have a crockpot but I hardly use it because all the recipes I have are for "American" dishes. I am Cuban and cook latin food at home. Would appreciate anything that I can cook in the crockpot that is latin.
I looked in the web and the only "latin" recipes I found are for beans. Which I do in the pressure cooker.
