Thank You: Mingo

Misc.
Meg

Small world. Many in my family worked at the steel mill in Mingo.

I trapped turtles around that area also.

After we would pack the turtle meat in ice, then paper towel dry, then egg and bread crumb the pieces and deep fry. The local lore was that there were 7 different flavors of meat in turtles. I can't say that I could distinguish that many. But it was good nonetheless.

I have family in Martins Ferry. I'll ask about the hill!

Have a Blessed Easter.
