Betsy, Thanks so much for the two recipes! I think that my original recipe did have cinnamon candies in it. I will try these recipes out. I will stack the apples when done, and maybe pour some syrup over them, and then sprinkle on the powder sugar. I remember that the apples looked so very festive, stacked fairly high! Thanks again! I can't tell you how much I've searched for this recipe.
