I haven't tried these recipes but I'm hoping if nobody comes up with your exact recipe you can experiment with these.

Baked Candied Apples (oven version)
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 cup red cinnamon candies
6 medium-size baking apples, peeled, cored (leave whole or cut in quarters)
Preheat oven to 400F/
Bring water and sugar to a boil. Add candies and stir until melted.
Place apples in a 7 1/2 x 11 3/4 inch baking dish; pour syrup over apples.
Bake whole apples for 40 minutes. Baste with syrup as they're baking. If apples are quartered, bake 20 minutes; turn apples over, bake 20 more minutes.
Red Cinnamon Apples (skillet version)
2 cups water
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup (1/4 lb.) red cinnamon candy
8 small apples, pared and cored
Combine water, candy and sugar in a skillet. Bring to a boil and cook until candy is dissolved.
Add apples, cook slowly, basting often with syrup until tender. Add a few drops of red food coloring to syrup if you prefer a deeper hue.
Place apples in serving dish, and pour syrup over the. Serve as a dessert or use as a garnish for meat or poultry. Source: Cookbook USA
