I was given a Galloping Gourmet Perfection-Aire #707 convection oven. I would like to get an instruction book for it. I've no idea how to use this. Does Perfection-Aire have a website? Does anyone have an address or phone number for this company? Thanks.

Hello. I have a Galloping Gourmet Perfection-Aire Oven. It is made by Desconic or so the book says. We are moving and I am going to sell it as I will have a convection oven that comes with my new house. The phone number I have is no longer good but maybe you can write the company at 2159 Tamiami Trail, Venice, FL. I am still trying to find out the oringinal cost. If you find out please let me know. One of the receipes is as follows.

Orange Spareribs

3 lbs. pork spareribs, trimmed

Marinade
2 oranges
2 Tbsp. honey
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. Worchestire sauce
1 tsp. soy sauce

Cut ribs into serving pieces and set aside.

Grate peel of one orange and scrape into saucepan along with juice of both oranges, honey, lemon juice, Worch. sauce and soy sauce. Bring to simmer ove medium heat. Stirring occasionally, cook for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and cool throughly.

After cooled pour over ribs, cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours.

When ready to cook, place wire rack into glass bowl of oven. Preheat to 400 degrees.

Drain marinade off ribs reserving marinade for bastng. Arrange ribs directly on wire rack and cook for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 375 degrees and cook another 35 minutes. Baste and turn ribs every 15 minutes.

There is a 66 page manual with recipes that can be dowmloaded. The jetstream is a type of convection oven and this manual may give some information for your oven.

I have the manual, thanks to Jenny! I got this convection oven on freecycle...anyway...there are no instructions in this manual for thawing in the oven. How do you thaw, say, a whole chicken? And do you always fill the thing for every use with water to the water level line? It doesn't show anything in there on this either. Please respond as soon as you can, I'm desperate to use this!

for those still in need of directions for the perfectionaire oven. The pdf.link in message ID number 115840. She has it ready to print out or save on everyone's computer.

Also the water level is just for cleaning purposes! It is used to soften crusted on foods to soften them and takes just a few minutes. Otherwise it is dry usage, but I bet it could be used as a steamer oven too, I haven't gotten to any of those recipes! (yet)

We just had a Galloping Gourmet Cuisine Express given to us. Brand new, never used, but no instruction booklet, just a couple of inserts with times and misc. I followed the link provided in a previous message, but that seemd to be for a jetstream oven. I have one of those. We use that all the time. What I have is a Galloping Gourmet Cuisine Express. That seems to be all the info I have.
