Apple Relish

Misc.
Here's a nice, seasonal recipe.

APPLE RELISH
4 medium tart apples, peeled & chopped
2 c sugar
1 c chopped dried apricots
1 c golden raisins
1/4 c vinegar
2 Tbsp grated orange peel
1/2 slivered almonds, toasted

In a large saucepan, combine the first six ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat; simmer for 25-30 minutes or until thickened. Stir in almonds.

Goes well with cloved ham, pork, chicken & turkey.

Yield: 4 c relish.
