Cube of Butter

I'v seen several responses to what a cube of butter is. I made a biscotti recipe this weekend that called for a cube of butter. I found the response here, on this site, and made the recipe.....well, a cube of butter is NOT 1 stick or 1/2 cup. A cube of butter is 2 tbsp. The birds liked it. :)
