Debbie, About Crestview....

Misc.
Hi Debbie,

Yes, those decks surely soak up that stain!!

When we lived in Nicveville, sometimes we would drive up to Crestview to have breakfast at the Crestview Cafe (I think that's the name, not sure) it's the only restaurant up on Main Street. We call them "holes in the walls". We love going to them because they are old and quaint and always searve the best!!

This particular one I am talking about is the one that introduced me to "meat and threes", the quintessential Southern plate of 1 meat and three vegetables. I sure do hope they are still in business. Do let me know if they are and if they are, stop in and have something. I am sure you already have.

Have a great Spring Break Debbie, you sure deserve it!! Folks just don't realize how hard teaching is (planning, teaching, disciplining, etc.)

Your Friend, Gina

P.S. Let the soup simmer longer. I cooked mine from 12 noon til almost 4PM, it came out nice and thick!!
