Shari - Have you tried the search function here at TKL? There's really a huge cache of recipes, and you may find what you're looking for there. As to the Banana Split cake, I've got a recipe I've used for years which is really a cream torte, with a graham cracker base, cream cheese and whipped cream layer, with banana slices between, topped with more cream, nuts, and maraschino cherries. If this sounds like what your husband liked, I'll be glad to post the recipe. If what he wants is an actual cake, maybe someone else will have an idea. Good luck!
