Hi, Jeanne! The dumplings are.....

Misc.
made out of flour, salt, etc. and then cut into small squares. They are like noodles, nothing like the "drop biscuit" dumplings that I have seen in cookbooks.

My mom always rolled her own, until she got too feeble to do it. Then she relied on frozen dumplings.

One of Mama's neighbors said that she used flour tortillas and cut them into strips. Another one of Mama's friends used lasagna noodles.

The company that makes the kind of frozen dumplings that I buy is near Pensacola, FL. These dumplings are almost homemade--at least to me!

Have a great Thursday!
