Recipe(tried): Chicken and Tortilla Dumplings

Soups
My G-Mother used to make the rolled dumplings, she called them slicks. She would make them for T-giving with turkey broth, etc. They were wonderful! You have brought back memories ... We love cornmeal dumplings as well! Speaking of using tortillas my DM found this recipe, it's so good & easy.

Chicken and Tortilla Dumplings

1 can chicken broth
1/2 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup milk
1/3 large bag flour tortillas, cut in 1-inch squares and separated
salt and pepper
1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 large chicken breast, boiled, skinned and boned, cut up
1 tbsp. butter

Combine in Dutch oven the broth, soup and milk and bring to a boil; stir to blend. Drop in flour tortilla squares. Cook about 15 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and poultry seasoning. Add chicken and 1 Tbsp. butter and heat thoroughly.
