Dear Hope,

You are one lucky gal, we just got a Pollo Tropical in Tampa and it is located at 3285 Hillsborough Avenue, phone number 319-1850.

No one is happier than me because as you well know Pollo Tropical rocks! Their food is fresh, tasty and cheap!

If you love Cuban food, the best restaurants are all along Columbus Avenue which is known in Tampa as "Boliche Boulevard". There you will find bodegas, botanicas, and bakeries (The best is Florida Bakery), there's even 2 Don Pan bakeries along Dale Mabry.

If you really want authentic Cuban food, try Arco Iris restaurant on Columbus, it's delicious and very economical. And, it's right near Florida Bakery so you can take some pastelitos home with some Cafe Cubano.
