but not the picture of the songpyun. From reading carefully the recipe I understand that there are three cakes or doughs prepared with different ingredients that probably gives them different colors. For the third cake they use only boiling water, therefore I guess it haves a natural color. I thought you were familiar with the songpyun. I suggest that you use the first recipe which appears to be easier to follow & might be preferred by your 8 years old.
