Recipe: Esther's Cracklin Corn Bread (Jack Daniels Old Time Barbecue Cookbook)

Breads - Muffins, Quick Breads
ESTHER'S CRACKLIN CORN BREAD
1 1/2 cups cornmeal
3 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups buttermilk
1 egg
2 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 cups cracklins

Sift cornmeal, flout, salt and baking soda together. Combine with buttermilk, egg, and butter. Stir in cracklin's. Pour into greased iron skillet.

Bake at 425 degres F for 20 minutes.
