G'day Jo, You will find quite a bit regarding Anzacs if you go into

plus more recipes. There seem to be so many recipes for them that I am sure the original has been lost, never to be seen again. LOL
It is like the Pavlova, a friendly battle between us, and the people from New Zealand as to who made the first batch of these now famous biscuits. The NZers say they first created the Pavlova, but actually, it was the creation of a chef from a Perth (Western Australia) hotel.. The great Anna pavlova was dancing in their city and he created this dish in her honour. They do say, "Great minds think alike" so who knows for sure? I certainly don't. love Angel O:-)
