Longing for Grandma's Spiced Pears

Misc.

I remember my Swedish grandmother canning spiced pears every year. When I was old enough to learn how she no longer made them. I remember that she left a cinnamon stick and possibly cloves in every jar. Even as a child I loved these. Does anyone have a recipe that they would like to share? TIA
