Lost : Puff pancake recipe

Misc.
My mother has been searching for a lost recipe she had years ago for a pancake- type recipe that, when baked in the oven, puffed up somewhat like a souffle. Has anyone ever heard of something like this? If you have or can find one, would you please post it in answer to this request? Mom will be thrilled.
