I think what you're looking for is a Middle Eastern and Greek cake that usually calls for semolina flour. A Lebanese friend of mine makes it with cream of wheat. I've been trying to get the recipe from her and will post it when i get it...

Meanwhile, one name you might search under is "Revani." I think that's what it's called in Greek; I don't know its Arabic name.
