Misc.

I live at about a mile high in Sierra Vist Az and have never had a problem with the altitude making cookies. We also have cabin in Alpine, Az (you're Mom may know where that is as it's only abou 3 1/2 hours from Albuquerque. We go shopping there when in Alpine sometimes) Alpine is 8000 ft and I have never had a problem there either. Now cakes and breads are an entirely different matter. Perhaps it's her oven. Has she checked the temperature of it?
