Note re: Wheat-Free Applesauce Cake (using ground oats)

Although it is wheat-free, Oats/oatmeal/oat flour contain proteins that are similar enough to gluten that it can trigger an allergy attack in some people with coeliac/celiac disease.

Unless they definitely know if oats will/will not cause a reaction, oats is not recommended as a Gluten-free product for coeliacs/celiacs.
