but you're right - it does sound time consuming - no wonder you get it when you go for dim sum but thanks for sharing! I have had dim sum before and really enjoyed it (things were chosen for me by someone who knows what i do and don't like to eat)but have to admit that although i'd love to go again i wouldn't know what to choose..........

I don't like glutinous or slimy things and enjoy salty rather than sweet. I don't mind sticky though........
